Expressive Figurative

These figurative works are often used to represent universal concepts - intangible ideas that are made visible in my paintings.  Sometimes they serve as social comment, and sometimes they are also an expression of personal feelings and experiences.

The use of texture and the effects of light often feature prominently in these paintings, helping to evoke the mood, atmosphere or message of the works.
